Lavender Linen Spray

This classic spray makes your laundry and bedding smell uh-mazing. When your washing has dried, spray sheets generously! Lavender essential oil is gentle which means it's safe to use on your children's sheets and clothes too. We've also used this as a perfume by replacing the distilled water with coconut oil!

What you’ll need:
  • 60ml dark glass spray bottle
  • 1 teaspoon of witch hazel
  • 15-20 drops of lavender
  • 60ml of distilled water
Directions:
Add the lavender and witch hazel to your glass bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water, apply the spray cap and shake well. Spray on freshly washed (and dried!) clothes or on your pillows and linens before bed.

Essential Oil bubble bath
Ingredients
  • 250 ml unscented castile soap
  • 120ml vegetable glycerin
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 15 drops favourite blend of essential oil
Instructions

Combine the castile soap, glycerin and water in a glass bowl. Add the essential oils and stir well until combined. Pour into a glass container (a glass bottle will suffice). To use, add a splash of your new bubble bath mixture to a warm, running bath.

Bronzing lotion stick
Ingredients
  • 75g beeswax
  • 70g shea butter
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa butter
  • 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
  • 1 teaspoon vitamin E
  • 20 drops of your favourite essential oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, for bronzer (you could also use 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder)

Note: This recipe makes approximately 100g of lotion.

Instructions

Add the beeswax, shea butter, cocoa butter, grapeseed oil and vitamin E to a glass jar and place in a saucepan with 1 inch of boiling water. Stir the ingredients until they are combined (about 5-10 minutes). Once melted, remove from the heat and put aside to rest for 3 minutes. Add the essential oil and stir together. For a bronzing effect, add one teaspoon of ground cinnamon and stir until combined. Pour into a container and leave to cool for 1 or 2 hours before use.

    Heat protector spray
    Ingredients
    • 1 teaspoon fractionated coconut oil
    • 1 tablespoon sweet almond oil
    • 2 teaspoons organic conditioner
    • 250ml water
    • 5 drops clary sage oil
    • 5 drops geranium oil
    Instructions

Pour half of the water into your spray bottle. Add the fractionated coconut oil, sweet almond oil, conditioner, and essential oils into a bottle. Add the remaining water and shake well. To use, apply one spritz to hair and work it through until your hair is lightly coated. Then style as normal!

    Yoga mat spray
    Ingredients
    • 180ml distilled water
    • 60ml alcohol-free witch hazel or white vinegar
    • 5 drops lavender oil
    • 3 drops Melaleuca oil
    • Glass spray bottle

Note: Not all yoga mats can be treated the same. Using essential oils may ruin some yoga mats. Spray a test patch on a small corner of your mat first to make sure the cleanser doesn't damage it.

    Instructions

Combine all the ingredients into the glass spray bottle and shake until combined. To use, spray on mat and wipe with a dry towel.
